(Greenfield’s Response to Workshop’s for Parents)
Greenfield School is pleased to offer parents workshop sessions. The workshops are run in a friendly, informal manner with practical activities, opportunities to ask questions and to use our staff expertise alongside the chance to see and make resources in order to support parents with their child’s education.
We meet on a weekly basis to have coffee and take part in a workshop. The workshops have been delivered by different people including our Behaviour Analyst; School Nurse, Education Psychologist and Community Police Officer and they cover a variety topics including Behaviour; Communication; Internet Safety; Dealing with Puberty and lots more.
We aim for these sessions to be informative and supportive. They allow parents and staff to network and work collaboratively to improve the quality of life for our parents and pupils at home, whilst also improving our home-school links and giving us a better understanding of the young people we work with.
